Walk to School Day survey

On Walk to School Day a group of PFA parents assisted me to track the way children and parents come to school.

How many children walk to school from across the oval area or get dropped off in Lower Road? Where do parents park their cars? Soccer ground? Edendale Farm? the oval? Kindergarten? How many parents on average come into the school at the start of the day with their children? How many students ride their bikes and scooters? What does all this information mean in reference to safety, traffic congestion, movement of people into and around the school at the start of the day?

We managed to track 500 children into the school out of our total population of 590.
