Year 6 camp: The year six students have completed their outdoor education camp at the Phillip Island. An enormous amount of planning and effort goes into organising our camps and I wish to congratulate our year 6 team for their hard work.
Annual Reporting Meeting: The School Performance data for 2016 was presented to the school community at the Annual Reporting Meeting held 23 March. The staff is pleased with the positive results in Literacy and Numeracy. Additionally, the report will be placed on our school web site as part of DET Accountability requirements.
School Council matters: At our March School Council meeting, office bearers were selected to the executive and councillors selected as members of our project teams. Adrian Higgins is SC President, Chris Farmer is Vice President and Secretary and Gareth Taylor is Treasurer. New members include Patty Thompson, Roya Godden and Taimi Buchan. I feel confident that all council members are very passionate and capable in being able to represent and support the whole school community. They will work very hard to build partnerships and relationship with parents, students and teachers and fulfil their obligations as the Council Board.
