There was a buzz of activity today when a group of parents and students converted another vegetable garden bed to a water wise wicking bed. Robyn Page led the charge with her construction skills and Lena stepped out of the school office to get her hands dirty too.
Many thanks to Sam and Will at Webster Farm & Garden, Research for their generous support with supplies. If you'd like to try wicking bed gardening at home but need a helping hand, check out the "ready to go" apple crate wicking beds for sale at Webster's.
Thank you to everyone who helped out. It was a fun way to spend a PST conference day and we hope you'll join us next term when we tackle another bed.
