Last term the JSC team arranged a pyjama day to raise more than $550 for a great cause. The Vive cafe provide a three course meal, a small market stall, craft centre for children, a hairdresser and an op shop every Thursday night for around 120 homeless and families in need and runs solely on donations. Olivia and Annabel represented our school. What a great night, the girls did ENPS proud, living up to all the school values. The girls gave a little speech and handed over the cheque. During the night the girls talked to lots of needy children and helped at the Opportunity Shop. Annabel and Olivia were wonderful ambassadors and said that it was great to do something so real, they could actually see how important their school donation was valued. Both girls found the experience very rewarding and gave them great insight into how hard other children’s lives are. Olivia and Annabel will be returning to Vive in the school holidays to help in the Vive Op-shop. At assembly next week the girls will show the Certificate of Appreciation that the school received.
