Dear parents
The commencement of 2024 is upon us . I hope you have enjoyed the beautiful weather we have experienced over the break. We are pleased with our school plans and arrangements moving forward.
Through our collective efforts at the end of 2023 we have positive staffing arrangements for the commencement of term.We have flexible arrangements to secure teachers who have an existing relationship with our school. We additionally matched pairs together to ensure we have great shared classroom practitioners. As you know well, ENPS is really good at forming great teacher teams and this is a prominent feature and part of the culture of our school. It makes us unique and quality teachers are the most important factor that influence student learning. ENPS have the best staff and programs.
We have made some important decisions for 2024 in comparison to 2023. We have reduced in size to 22 classes but maintained our specialist classes. The impact of a high number of students exiting year 6 to go to secondary schools and less students starting Preps has reduced our overall student numbers.
We have selected our school leaders for2024 and this is exciting news.
Our new School Captains are
India B 6C Stevie S. 6B George H 6C Chloe M 6C
Our new JSC coordinators are
Amelia Saunders 6B Indi T 6C Lexie D 6A ~ Celine
Our new Student Wellbeing leaders ar
Lou M 6B Lily S 6C Levi H Molly C
We need six parents to join council for 2024 so please consider join our team. The election process will open on Friday 2 February.
As we set up our structure, I encourage parents to actively become involved on site and think about joining our Parents and Friends Association. Please sign up to be a Parent Rep.
Calendar: Events for the whole year are found on the schoolwebsite. We will regularly update this information. Make it your ‘go to’ to search for upcoming events.
2024 Return dates: Tuesday 30 January our Year one to Year 6 students commenced their first school day and the Prep students have their interviews with their class teachers.
Staff are looking forward to ensuring tomorrow is a great day for all students.
Regards
David Foley
