Today we held a special assembly for student awards.

Mr Foley gave one student from each year level a CARE trophy for displaying Cooperation, Achievement, Respect and Empathy values. The recipients included Viha S - Preps, Abi H - Year 1, Olive F - Year 2, Frankie P -Year 3, Billie B - Year 4, Levi H - Year 5, Jacob C _ Year 6

Vikki Ward MP gave Heidi B from year 6 the David McKenzie Award for kindness, empathy and caring attitudes and support of friends and family.

The Judith Ireland Sponsorship Award was given to Tabitha G in year 6 for her community work and involvement in school activities.

Hendrix B in year 6 was given a Young ALF Program Award for Parade College.

Rachel T in year 6 got into the ACE program at St Helena Secondary School.

The Victorian Premiers Reading Challenge Award was offered to Cooper J in year one.

The year 4 Hoop time team made into the State Finals for basketball. This was a great achievement and they will be presented with t-shirts at an assembly on Friday 15 December.

Sports Awards were given to Kobi B who represented Team Victoria where he came 2nd in Shot put for Yr 11 and represented Victoria at the Tasmanian Games. Ariya O received an award for Athletics in 100 metre Multi-class. Year 6 Award Trophies were presented to Joao W, Zara C, Aiden B, Mila K, Yorke M and Charlotte K.

Science Awards were given to Jensen H, Gabby S, Lincoln S.

Performing Arts awards were given to four Year 6 students. Congratulations to Claire W, Nataniel F, Phoebe C, Yorke M.

Visual Arts Awards were given to four Year 6 students. Congratulations to Jacob C, Toby A, Sophia T, Hayden R.
